This Hummer H1 came through Juggernaut USA in Wheat Ridge (Denver), CO for a comprehensive service. The H1 is a beast — portal axles, a big carbureted V8, and systems unlike anything else on the road — which means it needs a shop that will actually dig into it. We went through the whole truck: driveline fluids, cooling, electrical, engine, and a tune for Colorado altitude, then took it to emissions and passed.

Full driveline service on portal axles
The H1's portal axles are part of what makes it so capable — and they mean more fluid points than a normal truck. We changed the gear oil in all four portals, both differentials, and the transfer case, and replaced the transfer-case coolant lines that were leaking. On a rig like this, staying on top of the driveline fluids is what keeps it alive.
Tuned for altitude, passed emissions
A carbureted engine at Colorado altitude needs to be tuned for the thin air, or it runs poorly and dirty. We cleaned the fuel system, repaired the carb intake, fitted new plugs and a serpentine belt, and tuned it for altitude — then took it to emissions testing, where it passed. That is the payoff of doing the whole job right instead of chasing one symptom.
