We set up a 2016 Toyota Tundra with a full on-board air system — an ARB Twin motor compressor feeding three air outlets (front, rear, and under-hood), plus Air Lift WirelessAir air bags for load support, and a full electrical clean-up to tie it all together. A serious overland air setup, controlled from a phone.
This Tundra came through Juggernaut USA in Wheat Ridge (Denver), CO for on-board air. The owner wanted air on tap for tires, tools, and lockers, plus adjustable rear support for hauling — and they wanted it clean. We mounted the ARB Twin compressor, ran three outlets, added the Air Lift WirelessAir bags, and cleaned up the electrical so the whole system is reliable and tidy under the hood.

ARB Twin on-board air with three outlets
The ARB Twin is a serious compressor — enough air to run tools, air lockers, and fast tire fills. We plumbed three outlets so there is air where you need it: up front for the winch area, out back for the trailer or camp, and under the hood for quick access. On-board air is one of the most-used upgrades on any overland truck.
Air Lift bags and a clean install
The Air Lift WirelessAir bags add adjustable rear support for hauling and towing, controlled wirelessly so you can level the truck from the cab or your phone. Just as important, we did a full electrical clean-up as part of the job — an air system is only as reliable as its wiring, and a tidy install is one that keeps working. Every wire routed and secured, no gremlins.
Common questions on this build
What can you run off on-board air?
Tire fills, air tools, and air lockers, plus air horns and more. A compressor like the ARB Twin has the output to handle all of it, with outlets placed where you actually use them.
Do air bags help a Tundra tow?
They add adjustable rear support to level the truck under load, which improves braking, steering, and stability when you are hauling or towing near capacity.
Can you set up on-board air on my truck?
Yes — compressors, outlets, air bags, and the wiring to make it all reliable. We do it in-house and we do it clean.
