This 2019 Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon got the full treatment — a Teraflex 3.5-inch lift on Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks, 37-inch BFGoodrich KO2s, a Maximus-3 bull bar with a WARN Zeon winch, Baja Designs lighting front to back, and Artec aluminum fenders. A stock Rubicon turned into a genuinely trail-ready rig, built and dialed in-house.
This Rubicon came through Juggernaut USA in Wheat Ridge (Denver), CO for a top-to-bottom build. The JL Rubicon is one of the most capable vehicles you can buy off the lot, but 37s, real recovery gear, armor, and lighting take it from very good to trail-dominant — as long as the suspension, steering, and electronics are all addressed together. That is the difference between a lifted Jeep that works and one that just looks the part.

Suspension: Teraflex 3.5-inch on Falcon adjustable shocks
The foundation is a Teraflex Sport 3.5-inch lift riding on Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks — so the ride can be tuned instead of fixed. Because 37s and a lift load up the steering, we also fit Teraflex's adjustable steering stabilizer and an adjustable reinforced track bar to keep the front axle located and the steering tight. That combination is what lets a 37-inch Rubicon drive straight and calm on the highway and still flex out on the trail.
Recovery: Maximus-3 bull bar and WARN Zeon winch
Up front is a Maximus-3 bull bar with a matching fairlead winch wrap, housing a WARN Zeon 8-S synthetic-rope winch. That is a serious self-recovery setup — synthetic line is lighter and safer than steel cable, and the Zeon is one of the most trusted winches made. Paired with the 37s and the Rubicon's factory lockers and sway-bar disconnect, this Jeep can get itself through and out of just about anything.
Lighting and armor
For light, this build runs Baja Designs top to bottom — a 10-inch spot/flood bar with amber daytime-running lights, S2 Squadron cubes on HAWK A-pillar mounts, and American Adventure Lab sequential fender lights. For protection it wears DV8 rock sliders with rock skins and Artec Industries aluminum inner fenders (with the Falcon shock cutout, powder coated black) that shed mud and show off the coilovers. An EVO hinge reinforcement carries the heavy 37-inch spare, and a JL Tazer Mini recalibrates the computer for the bigger tires. Every detail was handled so the whole build works as a system.
Common questions on this build
What does it take to run 37s on a JL Rubicon?
A lift for clearance, re-geared or Tazer-corrected electronics so the speedometer and shift points are right, and steering components to handle the added load. On a Rubicon the factory lockers and axles handle 37s well; the suspension and calibration are what need attention.
Why synthetic winch rope instead of steel cable?
Synthetic rope is lighter, easier to handle, and safer — if it fails it drops rather than whipping like steel cable can. It is the standard for modern recovery winches like the WARN Zeon here.
Can you build my Wrangler or Gladiator?
Yes. Lifts, 37s, armor, winches, lighting, and the electronics to tie it together — we build Jeeps in-house, front to back.
