This Forester came through Juggernaut USA in Wheat Ridge (Denver), CO for a lift. There are two ways to raise a Subaru: cheap strut spacers that just jack up the body, or a proper spring-and-strut package that lifts it and controls it. We went the second way — RalliTEK springs to set the new height, matched to Bilstein struts and shocks to damp it — so the truck sits taller and rides better than stock, not worse.

RalliTEK springs on Bilstein struts
The lift comes from RalliTEK's springs, which are wound to raise the Forester and add clearance without wrecking the spring rate. Paired with Bilstein struts and shocks, the suspension has the damping to control that new height — so the truck does not float or wallow the way a spacer-lifted Subaru can. It is the combination that turns a soft crossover into a composed little trail wagon.
Why struts and springs, not spacers
A spacer lift just shims the body up on the tired factory struts — you get the height but not the control, and the ride usually gets worse. Doing it with real lift springs and quality dampers means the geometry, the height, and the ride are all handled together. On a Subaru that sees Colorado dirt and winter roads, that is the difference between a lift that works and one you regret.

For ride quality, yes. Lift springs matched to good struts raise the car and keep it controlled. Spacers add height on top of the stock struts but do nothing for damping, so the ride often suffers.
Will lifting my Forester let me run bigger tires?
