A rack that holds up — and doesn't leak

A roof rack is the backbone of an adventure build — it carries your rooftop tent, awning, lights, recovery boards, and gear. But a rack is only as good as how it is mounted: sealed so it never leaks, torqued so it never rattles, and rated for the weight you will actually put up there. We install full-length platform racks (Prinsu, Sherpa), crossbar systems (Thule, Yakima, Rhino-Rack), and van racks — all done right.

The number most people miss is dynamic versus static load. A rack rated to hold a heavy rooftop tent while parked cannot carry that same weight at highway speed. We spec the rack to what you are actually mounting and how you drive, seal every roof penetration (or use a no-drill mount), and add a wind fairing so it is not a howling mess on the interstate.

Every roof rack job includes

  • Rack mounted to spec and torqued
  • Every roof penetration sealed — no leaks
  • Wind fairing fitted for a quiet ride
  • Rack weight-rated to your tent, awning, and gear
  • Lights, RTT, or awning mounted in the same visit (optional)
  • Leak- and noise-checked road test
  • Lifetime warranty on the labor

Platform or crossbar — and why sealing matters

The first choice is the rack itself. A full-length platform rack (Prinsu, Sherpa, Front Runner) is a whole deck you can mount a rooftop tent, awning, lights, boards, and gear to anywhere — the right call for an overland build. A crossbar system (Thule, Yakima, Rhino-Rack) is lighter and cheaper and perfect for bikes, boxes, kayaks, and daily use. Van racks for a ProMaster or Sprinter are their own thing, sized to the roof and the build. We will point you to the one that fits how you actually use the rig.

The part that separates a good install from a leaky, noisy one is the details: every roof penetration sealed properly (or a no-drill mount used) so water never gets in, a wind fairing so it is quiet at highway speed, and the rack rated for the load you will carry at speed, not just parked. Those three are where most rack installs go wrong — and where we don't.
