Air Bag Suspension Installation in Denver, CO
Stop the squat and tow level — helper airbags and load-support suspension for trucks and vans that tow, haul, or carry weight. On-board air optional. Lifetime labor warranty.
Load support, done right
A rear that squats under a trailer, a 5th-wheel, or a truck camper does more than look bad — it lightens the steer axle, aims your headlights at the trees, and wears the rear suspension. Helper airbags mount over the axle and add support only when you need it, so the truck sits level under load — more stable and better-handling under tow, with less sway, straighter braking, and headlights aimed where they belong. It is not a lift — it is load support.
There are two ways to do it: adjustable air (Air Lift, Firestone) that you air up for a load and down when empty, or set-and-forget rubber and foam helpers (Timbren, SumoSprings) with nothing to leak. Add an on-board compressor and you can adjust from the cab or your phone. Vans are the same story — a Sprinter or ProMaster build adds weight the factory rear was never sprung for, and we support it so the van sits level loaded.
Every air-bag job includes
- System sized to your trailer, camper, or van build
- Airbags or helpers mounted over the axle, rub-free
- On-board compressor + wireless control (optional)
- Air lines routed and secured, leak-checked
- Rear sits level under load — steer axle and lights corrected
- Rear sway bar added for tow stability (optional)
- Loaded road test before pickup
- Lifetime warranty on the labor
Airbags vs rubber helpers — and when you need on-board air
Adjustable airbags (Air Lift LoadLifter 5000, Firestone Ride-Rite) are the most flexible option: you air them up for a heavy tow and let them down when the truck is empty, so you get support only when you want it. The trade-off is you need a way to add air — a portable pump, or better, an on-board compressor so you can adjust from the cab or your phone and even auto-level. It is the right call if your load changes a lot.
Rubber and foam helpers (Timbren SES, SumoSprings) do the same job with nothing to leak and nothing to adjust — they compress progressively as the load settles onto them. They are the set-and-forget answer for a consistent load or a van build, and they are quiet and maintenance-free. We will size whichever one you pick to your actual tongue weight or camper so it supports the load without beating up the ride when the truck is empty.
| System | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Adjustable airbags | Air up / down per load | Loads that change often |
| + On-board air | Adjust from cab / phone | Frequent towing, auto-level |
| Rubber / foam helpers | Progressive, no air, no leaks | Consistent loads, vans |
Tell us what you tow or carry and how often, and we will spec the system that fits — adjustable air, on-board air, or a set-and-forget helper.
