We installed Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 air bags on a Ford F-150 along with an Air Lift wireless compressor and controller — giving the truck adjustable rear support for heavy loads and towing, controlled right from a phone. A hauling and towing upgrade that levels the truck under weight.
This F-150 came through Juggernaut USA in Wheat Ridge (Denver), CO for air-assist suspension. When a half-ton tows or hauls near its limit, the rear squats — which hurts braking, steering, and headlight aim. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 bags add adjustable support inside the rear suspension, and the wireless compressor lets you air them up or down on the fly to keep the truck level under any load.

Adjustable support for towing and hauling
The LoadLifter 5000 bags mount inside the rear springs and take on load as you inflate them. Empty, you run low pressure for a normal ride; loaded or towing, you add air to level the truck and firm up the rear. It is the difference between a squatting, unsettled truck under a trailer and one that sits flat and drives right.
Wireless on-board control
The Air Lift wireless compressor and controller mean you adjust pressure from your phone — no pulling over, no manual valve. Hitch a trailer, air up to level, and go. On a truck that tows regularly, that convenience is what makes the system get used instead of ignored.
Common questions on this build
Do air bags increase towing capacity?
They do not raise the truck's rated capacity, but they manage the load better — leveling the rear, reducing squat and sway, and improving braking and headlight aim when you are loaded near your limit.
Is the on-board compressor worth it?
Yes, if you adjust often. It lets you air up or down from the cab or your phone instead of a manual pump, so you actually use the system every time you load up.
Can you set up air suspension on my truck?
Yes — air bags, on-board compressors, and controllers, installed and wired clean. We do it in-house.
Book the same work
We install and wire truck suspension in-house at our Wheat Ridge shop north of Denver — air-assist, lifts, leveling, and armor. We serve Denver, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Arvada, Lakewood, and the Front Range. Call (970) 341-4221 to talk through your build, or see our install services. And when you are ready to armor the underside, we make the F-150 full skid plate package in-house. More from the bay: our Ford F-150 Bilstein leveling build.
