VANS SKID PLATES

Van underbody armor is a different problem from truck armor. Vans sit high enough that a thief can get under one without a jack, they carry conversion weight a pickup never sees, and on a camper build the things worth protecting are not just the drivetrain — they are the generator, the battery pack, and the catalytic converter. Everything here is CNC plasma-cut from 1/4-inch 5052-H32 aluminum, powder-coated, bolt-on with no drilling, and made in Wheat Ridge, Colorado with a lifetime warranty.

Weight matters more here than on a truck. A van is already heavy and already loaded, so the aluminum-versus-steel trade lands differently — you get comparable impact protection at roughly half the weight, and it will not rust in road salt.
