Rough Country 6-inch on Vertex reservoir coilovers
Six inches of lift gets the clearance for 37s, but it is the Vertex coilovers that make it drivable. The remote reservoirs carry extra oil, which resists fade and keeps the damping consistent, and the adjustability lets the ride be dialed for the street or the trail. That is what separates a 6-inch truck that rides well from one that pogos down the highway.

The BFGoodrich KM3 is one of the most capable mud-terrains made — aggressive tread for mud and rock, tough sidewalls that shrug off trail damage. At 37 inches on this Ram, they deliver the traction and the stance the lift was built for, and they fill out the fenders the 6 inches opened up.

Do I need reservoir shocks for a 6-inch lift?
You do not strictly need them, but they are worth it at big lift heights and tire sizes. The extra oil capacity resists fade and the adjustability lets you tune the ride — a real upgrade over basic shocks on a tall truck.
What does it take to run 37s on a Ram 1500?
Enough lift for clearance, the right wheel offset, and often some trimming. We spec the lift, wheels, and tires together so the 37s clear at full lock without rubbing.
