We built a Winnebago Solis (on the Ram ProMaster chassis) with an Off Highway Vans 3-inch lift, a set of Black Rhino wheels on BFGoodrich KO2s, and a Landed Gear door-mounted spare-tire carrier. Real clearance, a rugged wheel-and-tire package, and a spare you can actually reach.
This Winnebago Solis came through Juggernaut USA in Wheat Ridge (Denver), CO for the classic ProMaster-camper build. The Solis is a great platform, but the factory setup is built for pavement — so we lifted it, put it on a proper wheel-and-tire package, and mounted the spare where it belongs. The Black Rhino wheels give it a tougher stance to match the new capability.

Lift and a rugged wheel package
The Off Highway Vans 3-inch lift opens up the clearance a camper needs for dirt roads and washouts, and the Black Rhino wheels wrapped in KO2 all-terrains give it both the traction and the stance to look the part. It is the combination that transforms a Solis from a road camper into a backcountry-ready one.
A reachable door-mounted spare
We mounted the spare on a Landed Gear right-door carrier, keeping the full-size spare out of the interior and easy to access. On a camper you may need to change a tire far from help, having the spare where you can actually get to it matters.
Protect the underside
A lifted Solis headed off-pavement exposes its engine, transmission, and catalytic converter to rocks and ruts. We make aluminum armor for the ProMaster chassis in-house — our ProMaster front skid plate shields all three with a lifetime warranty.
Common questions on this build
Can you lift a Winnebago Solis?
Yes — the Solis is on the Ram ProMaster chassis, and a 3-inch lift on all-terrains gives it real off-road clearance while keeping it drivable on the highway.
What wheels fit a lifted ProMaster camper?
A range of aftermarket wheels like Black Rhino, spec'd for the ProMaster bolt pattern and load rating. We match the wheel and tire together so they clear and carry the weight.
Can you build my ProMaster camper?
Yes — lift, wheels, tires, spare carriers, armor, and custom fab, all in-house.
