Unfortunately for most Ram Promaster Class B RV owners, the stock undercarriage spare tire has been removed to make way for the generator or lithium batteries. Luckily there are a few companies (including us ūüėÄ) that make an alternative spare tire rack for the Ram Promaster chassis.

  • Short lead time. Usually ships same week.

Cons

  • Ladder is unusable with spare on it and used as a¬†strong mounting solution.
  • Ladder sold seperately

  • Frees up rear doors for easier access or mounting of additional accessories.
  • Allows for mounting of accessory off-road lighting.

Cons

  • Can reduce MPG due to aerodynamic changes in the front end.

Cons

  • Requires drilling 4 holes through the rear door. Non-reversible.
  • Delivery can take 1-3 months.
  • Older models can interfere with reverse sensors.
  • Requires two people to install (one person to hold the rack up while the other bolts all the brackets in)
  • Left door requires license plate relocation (additional $90 part)

  • Ladder can only be mounted on the left door.

  • Company can be hard to get a hold of.
