This 2026 Ford F-150 XL came into our Wheat Ridge bay for the full treatment — a proper lift, bigger tires, and the underbody armor to back it up. It is a clean example of doing a lift as a system: height, wheels, tires, clearance, and protection all specced together so everything clears and nothing rubs.

- Dobinsons 2.5-inch MRR 3-Way Adjustable coilovers up front — three-way adjustable damping that rides right on the street and holds up off it
- Dirt King 4130 chromoly upper control arms to correct the front-end geometry for the new height
- Eibach Pro-Truck 1-inch rear lift block with new rear shocks to level the stance
- 35-inch Falken Wildpeak A/T4W tires on Method MR707 17x8.5 wheels
- Fabtech high-clearance intrusion beam kit to clear the taller tires without rub

Lift, tires, and clearance as one job
Getting a 35-inch tire to tuck cleanly on an F-150 is not just a lift number. The Dobinsons coilovers set the height and the ride, the Dirt King upper arms keep the alignment in range, and the Fabtech high-clearance intrusion beams open up the room the taller Falkens need so there is no rub at full lock or full flex. Method 17x8.5 wheels put the tire exactly where it needs to sit.
Armor that matches the build
A truck that is going to see dirt needs its underbody protected. We finished this F-150 with our own 1/4-inch 5052-H32 aluminum Full Skid Plate Package plus the gas-tank skid — engine, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank all covered, powder-coated, and backed by a lifetime warranty. We build these plates here in Colorado and install them in the same bay, so the fit is exact.
