Prinsu's main choice is full platform vs. cutout: a full platform maximizes cargo and tent space, while a cutout keeps a factory sunroof usable and shaves a little weight. On a truck you can also run a bed rack instead of — or alongside — the roof rack, which keeps heavy gear lower. Either way it's low-profile aluminum built to look factory and stay quiet.
The details that make it work are the wind deflector (the difference between quiet and a whistle at highway speed) and setting the rack up for your specific rooftop tent, awning, and lights.
