The 2017–2026 Ford F-150 Raptor Engine Skid Plate is our front skid — stronger than the factory plate and built to shield the engine, oil pan, and the front & rear lower control-arm mounts that catch on rocks and ledges.
What it protects: the oil pan and lower engine, plus the front & rear lower control-arm mounts that hang up off-road.

Why not the factory skid? The factory front plate is thin stamped steel that only covers the front of the engine and traps the oil filter behind five small bolts. Ours is thicker, removes with two bolts, and adds control-arm-mount protection.

on our 2024 Nova 30C the new L brackets worked great since our Generator does not have the lips. We had to play with it a bit since just mounting the plate to the brackets was against the screw heads on the generator but just barely . so we used one of the other brackets mounted underneath the l Bracker for clearance.. We then mounted it to the following order .bolt,,washer,b,racket,, L bracket, washer and locking nut. We had to also slightly rotate the generator muffler clamp to the pipe to get clearance to mount the skid plate. Your skid plate looks great but we did struggle getting to your recommended torque on tightening the bolts, but I just can't see it ever being a problem. Can't say enough how well your skid plate looks and appears to protect our generator. Let me know if you have any concerns with our installation process.

This Skid Plate for the oil pan and transmission pan is a Great fit it was fairly easy to install by myself and only took an hour laying on the ground I would recommend this to anyone looking to protect there F series gas truck .

What's the difference between the "Juggernaut Front Skid" and "No Juggernaut Front Skid" options?
"No Juggernaut Front Skid" keeps your factory Raptor front skid plate and adds our engine skid behind it. "Juggernaut Front Skid" adds our heavy-duty front skid — stronger than factory and removable with just 2 bolts (vs. the factory's 5 small bolts) for quick oil-filter access.
Can I keep my factory Raptor skid plate?
Yes — choose the "No Juggernaut Front Skid" option and our engine skid installs while you keep the factory front skid.
Will these work with my front camera and sensors?
Yes — there's no interference with the factory front camera or sensors.
Will they fit with a lift?
Compatible with lifts up to 4". Taller lifts use subframe drop brackets that interfere.
What does each plate protect?
The engine skid covers the front and rear lower control-arm mounts; the transmission skid gives frame-to-frame protection with oil-drain access; the transfer case skid protects the transfer case and EVAP system. The package combines all three for complete underbody coverage.
Can I buy the plates individually?

What is a skid plate, and what does it protect?
Underbody armor that shields your oil pan, transmission, catalytic converter, transfer case, and front differential from rocks, road debris, potholes, and trail impacts.
What are Juggernaut skid plates made of?
1/4" 5052-H32 aluminum, powder-coated black, with steel mounting brackets where needed — made in-house in Wheat Ridge, Colorado from US-sourced aluminum.
Why aluminum instead of steel?
Aluminum is roughly half the weight of steel and won't rust — full-strength underbody protection without the weight penalty or corrosion of steel armor.
Will a skid plate hurt my gas mileage?
Negligibly — an aluminum set weighs about half what steel does, so the added weight is minimal.
Do I need one if I mostly drive on the street?
Yes — potholes, road debris, and steep driveways damage undercarriages even off the trail. It's cheap insurance against expensive repairs.
Do I have to drill or modify my vehicle to install it?
No — every Juggernaut skid plate is 100% bolt-on to factory mounting points. No drilling, cutting, or welding.
Can I install it myself?
Yes — bolt-on installation with basic hand tools, usually about 1–2 hours. Step-by-step guides are on each product's install page.
Can I still change my oil with the skid plate installed?
Yes — our plates include oil-drain access cutouts so you can do routine oil changes without removing the skid plate.

Minimal — plates contour to the frame and tuck up against the underbody so they slide over obstacles rather than hang low.
