Lift your Silverado or Sierra the right way
The Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 are two of the most-built trucks on Colorado roads, and a good lift transforms both the stance and the capability. We build every 1500 — gas and Duramax diesel, base work trucks to loaded Denalis, and the Trail Boss, AT4, and ZR2 off-road trims — with the shocks, springs, and geometry matched to how you actually use it.
The details are where a 1500 lift lives or dies: matching lift height to wheel offset and tire size so it clears, adding upper control arms where the height calls for them to protect your CV axles and alignment, and correcting the geometry so it drives straight. Every lift includes a post-lift alignment and a speedometer recalibration. Want a cleaner stance and mild tires instead? That's a leveling kit — see our Chevy/GMC leveling page. And we lift the 2500HD and 3500HD too.
Every Chevy/GMC lift includes
- Lift height matched to your wheel offset and tire size
- Upper control arms where the height calls for them
- Geometry, brake-line, and bump-stop correction
- Post-lift alignment on every install
- Speedometer recalibrated for the new tire size
- Torqued to spec and road-tested at full lock
- Lifetime warranty on the labor
Level or lift your 1500 — and how big you can go
The Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 run an independent front end with a coil-over or torsion setup and a leaf-sprung rear, so a build starts with a tire goal. A 2-inch level clears up to a 33 and evens the stance — that's the leveling lane. To get into 35s and real height you want a 3 to 6-inch lift, and past a certain point that means new upper control arms and a corrected front end so it drives right and doesn't chew tires or CV axles.
Trim matters too. A Trail Boss, AT4, or ZR2 already sits taller with a factory skid and shocks, so we build around what you have instead of throwing away good hardware. We match lift height to wheel offset and tire size so it clears at full lock and full flex, correct the geometry, and align it every time. We also lift the 2500HD and 3500HD — the HD trucks are a different, heavier animal and we spec them accordingly.
| Goal | Setup | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Level | 2-inch front level | Up to 33s, keeps factory ride |
| Mid lift | 3.5–4 inch lift | 35s with the right offset, UCAs |
| Big lift | 6 inch+ | 35s–37s, more supporting mods |
