Aluminum can't rust the way steel plates do — every scratch on steel armor is where corrosion starts, especially with road salt. Ours is 1/4" 5052 aluminum, powder-coated black, CNC plasma-cut and press-brake formed in our Wheat Ridge, Colorado shop.

The skid plate for my 2022 F350 fit perfectly and was easy to install. Its a very sturdy plate secured with good hardware, I believe its gonna do the job, or at least give me piece of mind that I won't end up with a hole in my oil pan/filter.
If this is anything like the engine/trans plate, it should be perfect. If it’s not 5 stars, I updated my review… will install in spring when it’s not 0f outside.
