What size lift fits 33s on a 5th gen 4Runner?
A 2"-3" lift with the right wheel backspacing is the sweet spot for 33" tires on a 5th gen 4Runner. The stock front UCAs can handle a 2" lift, but at 3"+ we recommend aftermarket UCAs for proper geometry and CV health. We'll help you choose the right combo.
Do I need new UCAs with my 4Runner lift?
For lifts over 2", yes — aftermarket upper control arms are recommended to correct the CV angle and prevent premature wear. At 3" and above, UCAs are essential. We install Icon, Total Chaos, and SPC UCAs and can include them in your lift package.
Can you lift a TRD Pro 4Runner?
Yes. The TRD Pro has factory Fox shocks and a higher ride height. Options depend on your generation — we can either replace the Fox shocks with upgraded units, add spacers above the factory struts, or install a full aftermarket system. We'll assess your specific truck and recommend the best path.
