What size lift fits 33s on a 3rd gen Tacoma?
A 2"-3" lift is the sweet spot for 33" tires on a 3rd gen Tacoma. You can often fit 265/70R17 (33") with just a 2" lift and a small backspacing wheel. For 285/75R16 (33") with a quality UCA, a 3" lift gives more room. We'll help you nail down the combo during your consultation.
Does my Tacoma have KDSS?
KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) was available on 3rd gen Tacoma TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro models with the optional package. Check your window sticker or look for the KDSS badge on your door jamb. If you have KDSS, we install KDSS-compatible lift kits — just let us know.
Can you install a lift on a TRD Pro Tacoma?
Yes. The TRD Pro has a factory Fox suspension setup with a higher ride height than standard models. We'll assess your specific truck and recommend a lift that works correctly with the factory Fox system — whether that's adding height, replacing shocks, or upgrading UCAs.
